Home for the Holidays

After 10 months of working hard or hardly working, I finally got to take my holidays. And therefore, I am HOME! I am in Hyderabad. I left on October 22nd by a Indian Airlines flight that comes direct in 4 hours and 15 minutes. 20 minutes of immigration and customs, I find my brother in law waiting to pick me up. 20 more minutes later, I am REALLY HOME. I am here in the middle of the two most important festivals. The fasting month and deepavali. I will describe this in detail in the next posts.

The first thing I decided was to play tourist in the place where I grew up. Oddly enough, I realize that there are so many things that have changed. The next few postings will be the memories and images of Hyderabad and Bombay.

When I left, I had promised to be careful in watching what I eat and ensure I dont balloon up with the food here. The promise disappeared the same evening.

So keep an eye on the next posts for the culture, the food, the life and my holiday adventure.
